The fact that there is a wide variety of power-ups to choose from, such as mines, ranged weapons, projectile weapons, shields, turbo boosts, and smart bombs, should provide players with the means necessary to guarantee that they are the first ones to cross the finish line. The races will take place across a total of twenty different tracks spread throughout eight distinct terrain areas.
Players will compete in races using over a dozen different vehicles, each of which can be customized and constructed with its own set of distinct handling characteristics.
Following their successful mission to protect Haven City once more, Jak and Daxter realize that they have been poisoned and are now required to compete against one another on the worldwide car-racing circuit in order to carry out Krew’s wishes.
